DME problems

Featured Replies

When using ILS and co-located DME for Biggin (EGKB) I have had no problems with the DME.However I have been unable to raise the DME when used with the NDB at Carlisle (EGNC) and Shoreham (EGKA)I have checked obtained the DME frequencies from Jeppersen and checked with the airfields concerned. I have also tried to find which frequencies Flight Simulator is using - but can't get to them. Can anyone help?

There is a DME-equipment at EGNC, freq. 110.70, but none at EGKA. I am talking about the default FS2004 scenery.Jozef http://pluizig.ath.cx/signature.jpg

Yep, the CO DME at Carlisle is present and functional, SRH at Shoreham is missing.

Thanks for the response - I'm using version 2002 - maybe that's the problem. I'm thinking about upgrading anyway so maybe I'll try that.

You can find navaid frequencies by opening the map dialog and clicking on the facility.

When you say "opening the map dialog" do you mean the list of airfields (+ regions, etc)?If so I have tried bringing the airfields up but don't get any frequencies. BTW this is on 2002 - I should get 2004 tomorrow :-)

From the in-game menu select World then Map View. You'll get a map showing your location as well as airports, navaids, etc. Click on one and another dialog will appear with info.
