Hi,I tried to record a video of my flight in FS2004 but got nothing when I tried to play the video. The instructions in the Flight Video section of the Learning Guide seem pretty straight forward. I obviously missed something but don't know what. I used the usual yoke and rudder controls. I vaguely remember something in an older version of Flight Simulator that said you had to use keyboard inputs for the videos. Maybe the same is true here, although, I did not read anything about that in the FS2004 guide.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.Tom:-hmmm

Hi, it IS pretty straight forward. Start the video recording from the FS menu, options. When you terminate the recording with ESC or from the menu again, you have to enter a file name. To play back, simply highlight the video in the list and click "Play Clip".

Hi,Thanks for your reply. I followed the steps you suggested and still got nothing except the last few seconds of the video. I was controling the plane from the spot plane view. Maybe I should try it from the 2D cockpit view. I also had the sampling set at 1/4 seconds- I'll increase it.Thanks.Tom:-hmmm
