just tried flying the baron 58 with 25% fuel in each of the two tanks.it flies completely different! like a new plane! it is no longer pitch sensitive and flies SMOOOOOOOTH as silk! no kidding. can the fuel loading be the problem alot of people were and are complaining about with the default baron 58? does proper loading mean there is nothing wrong with it now? it seems so unless my testing with different aircraft got the flight models mixed up. i can't believe how it flies now. i was aware of not using full tanks but guess i missed testing it in the baron. all you people who gave up on the baron come back and try again! with less fuel this time. you will not believe how nice it can fly and with no sporatic movements. PLEASE check it out. william

I'm afraid I would take this as a negative rather than a positive. If anything, an airplane gets more stable with higher loads. I'd hate to have to do a 1500 nm flight in 250 or 300 nm lengths, just because the airplane couldn't handle full fuel. Or, not be able to carry more than just myself because the extra weight made it unstable. Sorry, but unlike the 172 and 182, I think FS messed up a bit on the dynamics of most of its aircraft, and this only confirms the problem.Glenn

hi glenn, well, i was assuming a landing type weight or close to that with the 25% fuel load. it flies nice like that but that brings us back to what you mention. what about full tanks. i know it won't fly like that if fully fuelled but may fly better if i only use enough to get to my destination plus enough for the alternate airport. that doesn't solve the problem though. i'll do some more testing with full tanks and loadouts. i wasn't implying you'd make a long trip with only 25% fuel in the tanks and have to refuel all the time just to get to the destination. sorry if i came across like that, i didn't mean to. my main concern was that it seemed to fly better with less than full tanks so maybe i wouldn't need to fill them all the way all the time therefore getting alittle better performance and handling. i'm ashamed to say this but i used to just jump in and go. well, not exactly but after i made a flight plan and so on. i just didn't pay much attention to the fuel/ weight thing, thinking that well a full tank of gas will get me there so nothin' to worry about. william
