Greetings,I seem to be having problems with contrails in FS2004. Every time there is a flight passing overhead that has contrails, it seems to have a second set of contrails that reach down to the ground. Is that an error that anyone is familiar with? If so, please let me know of a solution. Your help is greatly appreciated

Sorry to let this thread be buried, We are trying to provide the best of support for our fellow simmers, but sometimes the posting traffic is too high and you loose track of things...Anyway, back to the point:FS contrails are controled by an Effects file: FX_Contrail in the the Effects folder.Upon installing a new Aircraft, sometimes this file gets overwritten by an older/corrupted version.This is an issue we are familiar with (have it once... it looks actually funny) Here's how you fix it:1. Get your FS installation Disk #1 and copy the fx_Contrail file.2. Copy that file on your Effects Folder 3. Save the file somewhere in your computer, just in case you need it again.4. You're done.
