Stutters Help

Yes, yet another post on the stutters. I run FS9 on a P4/1.7/512/FX5200 and had reasonably good results except I would get occasional 1 second stutters and frequent "micro-stutters" when in dense areas.Recently, my hard drive showed signs of impending death to I had a new one installed and just "Ghosted" the data from the old drive to the new...i.e. I did not re-install any programs.Low and behold, I have been getting the smoooothest flying I have ever had.I don't have the new drive's specs in front of me but it was the newest and fastest available and it REALLY made a noticeable difference. Those of you with 2-3 year old systems like mine might want to give a new HD a try. They are cheap and your current one is going to die on you anyway.Regards
