Which version of Windows are you running? How much RAM do you have? What programs do you have running in the background? Have you tried defragmenting your hard drive?

Windows XP Version 2002 Service pack 11GB RamProcessor Pentum 4 3.2- GhzOn the back round-Suymantek Norton Antivirus and FirewallThanks

Trying doing a disk cleanup first. If that doesn't help, then try to do a clean boot.DISK CLEANUP1) Double-click on My Computer (or click on Start-My Computer).2) Right-clicko n your C: drive.3) Left-click on Disk Cleanup.4) After it goes through the scanning, you'll get a screen.5) Place a check mark next to ALL the boxes.6) Click OK.7) Click Yes to confirm.CLEAN BOOT1) Click on Start.2) Click on Run.3) Type MSCONFIG.4) Click OK.5) In the GENERAL tab, click SELECTIVE STARTUP.6) UNCHECK Load Startup Items.7) Go to the SERVICES tab.8) Check the box marked HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES.9) Click Disable All.10) Click Apply.11) Click OK.12) Click RESTART.Give those a whirl. Also, I would defragment the hard drive and also get a freeware program by Ken Salter called FSAUTOSTART, which is available in the library.

ThanksI allready tried the clean rebootWill try the rest
