Standard weather themes get lost

For a couple of days now I have a strange behavior of the weather menu in FS9: If I select one of the weather themes, go flying and later on return to the weather menu, the button "User-defined weather" is selected and the previous selected weather theme gets lost. If I define a new default flight with let's say "Fair Weather", it will not load after restarting FS9. Instead, the original default flight is loaded with clear skies. It seems that the weather settings are not saved anymore.

 

Does anybody had the same problem and know how to solve it? Any help is appreciated.

Do you mean you don't have pictures of weather themes?

The problem is solved - thanks for asking. It seems that some messages disappeard some weeks ago because somebody gave me the right tip here in the thread and that solved my problem. But the messages hasve gone...

 

BTW: The problem was that I had to change the settings in the FSUIPC module in order to avoid overwriting the settings in the standard weather menu.
