Trim Problem + yoke movement

Featured Replies

Hello everybody!

Well here is my first post, and its a question, but i'll be posting some feature to help you with mading a full cockpit simulator, thats what i have.

Well getting into the problem that i have, its happening that the elevator trim is having an strange behaviour, if you have the yoke in neutral position and you try to trim up it doesnt work, but when you try to trim down it works.

If you move the yoke doing a pitch down movement (forward) you can also trim up.

i was looking in the older posts and i found this

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/344544-yoke-trim-problem/

and i said omg so this is going to be easy peasy and problem solved, but i entered the fsuipc and checked for the joystick calibration hoping that the yoke would be showing a forward position, guess what? it wasnt, so that my nightmare started because i left without ideas. So can you help me a little discarding some options or to have a clue in what check or where to see?

I know my english is kinda bad, thats because im a native spanish speaker and im out of practice, so im sory.

Thanks for everything and i'll be in touch waiting for some help.

Fixed!!!

i have fixed this by getting into the FSUIPC and resseting the callibration of the yoke plus doing some soft movements to the yoke trying to "disengage" the forward movement, but its not completely fixed, because sometimes it doesnt work well but i think thats caused because of a poor welding work ....
