August 16, 200421 yr (Note. I've already posted to the Ultimate Traffic forum, where it was suggested that the AFCAD for DUB may be at fault. I am just wondering if anyone else might be experiencing this, or a similar, problem? Thanks, Frank)Hi,Well, I purchased UT over the weekend and, as predicted, I was hugely impressed with this wonderful product!! Now, I don't know how I did without it previously, and did no flying over the last day or so, what with just sitting with my PalmSpotter watching the traffic come and go! Great Stuff!Which brings me to a problem I've encountered at Dublin(EIDW).Watching the traffic at different times today, I noticed that no traffic actually departs the active runway(in this case Rwy28)!! The aircraft line up fine, and wait until the approach is clear. Then..? Well, then they wait some more...and some more....until, eventually, the closest to the runway just disappears! Then, it's the turn of the second in line....and so on! Well, you get the picture. I can't get any aircraft to actually depart in the normal manner .Does anyone know why this happens, please? The only thing I can think of right now, is that Rwy28 and Rwy34 cross each other at the threshold and I think I recall reading somewhere that this causes confusion to FS? By the way, I realise this is(probably) an FS problem, not UT, since UT use the FS AI engine, but I am hoping that someone here can help solve the problem for me. I really do love this program! As a follow up question, is it possible to change the active runway in FS, and will UT always use the active assigned by FS?Looking forward to hearing from you all.Best wishes,Frank
