Maybe it's because you're using a different operating system?I've never heard of a company called micro$soft or m$...As to the list, they're all programs that use undocumented APIs which are internal to Windows and not for use by 3rd party applications (including other Microsoft applications). If application developers choose to use those APIs anyway they do so at their own risk (and that of their users, obviously).Blaming Microsoft for Semantec's failure to adhere to published APIs and rather to hack things into Windows in sneaky ways is like blaming Tony Blair for Jacques Chirac's bad haircut. As to "small errors", small errors can demand big fixes and who are you to say they're "small errors" anyway. If a 10MB file changes in a few bytes, the entire file is replaced.Might be a small change, but a big download anyway.
