August 17, 200421 yr Hi,I was wondering if someone has already purchased the Aeroworx beech 200 via Simmarket, because I would like to know if you have to be connected to internet in order to complete the installation. At first sight, it doesn't seem to be the case but a few words describing the purchasing process would be useful and greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for responding.Kind regards.
August 17, 200421 yr Dunno about the the whole having to be connected to the net thing, the fact is though personally.. i don't dislike simmarket itself..just their purchase policy... ok you buy it.. works smooth and all.. but then the hitch.. they only will let you download it an x number of times..plus that whole.. pay for backup policy..All in all NEVER loose your installer.. if you do, and run out of downloads from them.. forget it.. pay the fee in order to get it again.. (yes even if you allready bought it).. i don't like that... why don't you just use the flight1 wrapper from aeroworx itself.. works like a charm.. and you don't run into any fees if you ever happen to loose your installer..just my 2C
August 17, 200421 yr Well after the the period for installing I changed my computer and lost the install file on one of the programs I bought. Since they have a record of all your purchases right there I did a 'trouble ticket' asking for a reinstall. They gave it. Twice this happened in fact for two products I had purchased. In other words, I've never run into any problems with their purchase methodology notwithstanding they give the option for backup purchase (and you should backup your install file in any event).

And after ten downloads I can understand a company charging to back-up... it is afterall their time that's going toward the process of getting that 11th download to the customer.Having said that, I managed to screw up my Aerosoft Katana back-up. I saved everything but the password (DOH!). Mathijs has been very easy to work with in getting me a new one, and I feel obliged to be patient until he can get it done (me thinks they've been busy with the A-10 release the past few days).Just my 2 cents,Greg
