Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice on how to go about this please? My system is a lot slower than it was last year mainly becaused i've installed so much non-fsim stuff on the system. I want to get it back to just fsx and scnery and plane add ons and I also use my system as a source for sampled Piano sounds for my piano.

The system was installed and overclocked by wired2fire.

What do i do? i've looked for a guide that tells you how to rebuild your system from scratch but cant find one...can any one point me in the right direction please?

In the past with non-sim laptoips i've just gone into disk manager and reformatted the drives and really started from scratch......i really dont want to mess things up though or be without my system for too long....down to my lack of knowledge.

I have a really good system which I bought last year from wired2fire:

Case: Xigmatek Asgard Case

Power Supply: Modular 850W Power Supply (80 Plus Certified)

Processor: Core i7 2600K 8MB Cache Socket 1155

CPU Cooler: Titan Fenrir EVO CPU Cooler

Optimisation and Tuning: Wired2Fire Cable Management
Wired2Fire Overclocking
Wired2Fire Tuning

Graphics Card 1: nVidia GeForce GTX 570 1280MB GDDR5

Graphics Card 2: None

Memory: 8GB Corsair DDR3 1600MHz C9 Dual Channel Memory Kit (2 x 4GB)

Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Pro Intel P67 (Socket 1155) Motherboard

Hard Disk Drive One: 60GB Corsair SSD Hard drive

Hard Disk Drive Two: Samsung 2TB Spinpoint F3 EcoGreen 32MB Cache SATA II Hard Disk Drive

I've backed the whole system up using Norton Ghost.

many thanks
