August 24, 200421 yr Hi :-newbie question,I have been using FS2004 for a few months and just installed Ultimate Traffic a few weeks ago. Haven't had any problems but I would like to know if it possible to add an airport and an airline to fly to that airport in UT. I have read the UT help guide but didn't see any references to adding airports. It mentioned importing airlines in FS2004 and using AFCAD in the FS2002 tutorial.I know, from reading the post's on the forum, that there are programs that let you add AI aircraft and change certain features of airports in FS2004. I would appreciate any help and suggestions. Thanks,Tom :-zhelp
August 27, 200421 yr You can download any afcad2 files. they have airport parking assignments and you put the files in your flight sim/addon scenery/scenery folder(Id download a file on projectai.com called scanafcad that will get rid of duplicates)To import an airline, follow this guidehttp://www.john-goodwin.pwp.blueyonder.co....age10frame.html
August 27, 200421 yr Hi,Thanks, Alex, for your reply. I've downloaded just about every tutorial regarding Ultimate Traffic. After reading them, I think I'm more confused than I was before.:-hmmm The aircraft, airline, and one of the airports(KATL/Atlanta Hartsfield) are already in the UT database. The airport(Venice Muni/Florida KVNC) and flight plan are not in the UT database. Venice Muni is in the fs9 database. What I want to do is add Venice Muni to the UT database and make a flightplan between KATL and KVNC. John Goodwin's tutorial mentions constructing the "aircraft.txt" file, "flightplans.txt" file, and the "airports.txt" file. However, I'm not sure how to construct these files. I'm also confused as to when to use TTools by Lee Swordy.Lots of questions but I hope you have pity for a newbie and can offer some help.Thanks.Tom :-zhelp
