Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me why everytime I create new flight, I start at active runway so i don't have to taxi...it is very annoying...I like the taxi.Any help on how to fix this would be appreceiated. Thanks in advance...Soar

Hi.In the screen where you select your starting airport there is a box at the bottom left of the screen which allows you to select a runway or a gate at the airport you are at :D just scroll down a bit in the menu.Hope this helps!Mark! :)

If you open it there will be selections for "Active Runway", ##(L or R) runway and possibly water runways, but no parking access. For the smaller airports this is very much the norm and not the exception; at least here in the Pacific NW.

... in this case what you can do is set up a flight, click "Fly Now," then slew the aircraft to your desired starting position.

AFCAD will allow you to define your own parking areas for those airports without them, or add/modify the ones that do.
