August 25, 200421 yr No matter which way I turn the yoke, or don't turn it, the Cessna 172 veers left. No amount of yoke correction to the right corrects this. It stays left. Also, does this plane have a retractable landing gear. If it does, whether I use G on the keyboard or the assigned button on my yoke, nothing happens.Louis
August 25, 200421 yr I am assuming you do not have rudder pedals. If you DO have them, use those to control aircraft direction on the groundYoke will only control rudder function if autorudder is checked in the menu. Look under aircraft/realism for starters.AFAIK, the default 172 is fixed gear. Only the 172RG had a retractable gear to my knowledge, and this one is not that model. Paul
August 25, 200421 yr It may be called "auto-co-ordination" instead of "autorudder," but they mean the same thing. The retractable-gear plane, in case you're looking for it, is the 182RG.Even with auto-co-ordination on, it can sometimes be difficult to control an aircraft on the ground without rudder pedals. It's pretty much impossible to fly a helicopter without them. (Many of us would agree that it's pretty much impossible to fly a helicopter even with them.)
