Strobe lights for FS2000?

Featured Replies

Hello fellow pilotsWould any of you know where I could find an upgrade to fix the pathetic strobe-lights in FS2000? Strobes by their very nature are meant to flash agressively & brightly....unfortunately the wingtip strobes on all planes in FS2000 flash like someone was lighting then putting out a candle *Yawn* Im looking for an add-on that would give good strobe effects close to real-life strobes....and by that I mean seeing the flash when you go IMC at night, or seeing the flash when you are on/near the ground in darkness. Even FS4 had the in-cloud strobe-reflection effect!I know FS2000 is redundant for all of you on here but I hope someone can help!Thank u :)

Sorry, don't have an answer for you. There probably aren't that many people in these forums that are still using FS2000. (FS2000 has been superceded with FS2002 and now FS9 (also known as COF, or "Century Of Flight").The aircraft lighting is fairly realistic in FS9. Not sure if the strobes in the clouds effect is present, though.

Yeah! I had a feeling. It was a shot in the dark posting it on here hee hee, but I was searching madly for better strobes!I thinks by the time I can get a blazing new computer FS10 will be out!However...I most appreciate you taking the time to answer :)
