is there a freeware or payware program that i can use to get callouts in Fs2004??.seems very quiet when landing or taking off.i miss the bells and whistles... thanks steve

I use S-Combo. I believe that version 2 is required for FS9. Version is shareware and is reasonably priced. Some callout gauges developed for earlier version of MSFS also work with FS9. R-

There's a new one available from PCAviator (and probably any other FS retailer as well) called FDC Live Cockpit...it's a more evolved version of S-Combo that adds a few more options and features. Also, I've heard some good things about a program called FS Hot Seat (http://www.fshotseat.com/) that will do checklists, copilot interaction, etc... The only thing to keep in mind is that this program uses a Text to speech engine for the voice, versus actual voice recordings with S-Combo or FDC. I don't know about FDC or S-Combo, but FS Hot Seat offers a free demo so you can decide for yourself...
