Help needed before I attempt to install FS9

Featured Replies

I was just on my last leg into EDDF from KSFO with about 160NM miles remaining when all of a sudden FS crashed on me and indicated that 'Facilities.Dll' was the culprit...I was so upset especially after waiting more than nine hours to land this thing but ended with a crash instead...I tried to recreate/guesstimate the last leg using Radar Contact and right after I did, FS crashed again with another error, 'ntdll.dl.' I sent both error reports to Microsoft and sure not to get a response back from them...Whats new: I upgraded to SP2 but I'm sure this is not the problem because I've seen these errors before the update. The other change is increasing AF to 16x for my Radeoan 9700 pro graphics to help tone down the blurs. It was working very well until the crash. Now I'm at a lost. I'm backing up all my aircrafts and guages as I type this and thinking of reinstalling FS9Does anyone have any last suggestions?SYS SPECS:AUSUS A7N8X Deluxe 2.0AMD 2800 Barton @333mhz1GB ddr 2700@ 333mhzRadeon 9700Pro 128MB/Omega drivers 2.5.44WD80GB HDD @7200rmp/2mb cacheWinXP pro/SP2FS9Creative SB 5.1 LiveSaitek X45Direct X 9b

ntdll.dll is basically an NT Layer DLL, which contains the NT core components. Facilities.dll sounds like the dll that has information on the various facilities with FS9.What I would do is do a scandisk on your system, defrag, then reinstall FS9 and see what happens. Try it first without any addons, then add them one by one.
