August 30, 200421 yr I remember in 2002 I was able to add a list of real world airlines that ATC would call out. ie. American, United, etc.. Is this possiable in FS9 and if so what do I need to do?ThanksLarry JIndio, CA
August 30, 200421 yr Yes, you just need the new EditVoicePack 3.0. You can download it from http://bevelstone.xs4all.nl/FlightSimulator/EditVoicepack/.
August 30, 200421 yr Author Larry,EditVoicePack is a very useful program if you want to add airline names of lesser known carriers. For your question, however, just edit the aircraft.cfg file with Notepad. If you have paint textures for United, edit atc_airline to read:atc_airline=UnitedThe airline list that comes with the sim contains most of the larger worldwide carriers such as United, American, Continental, Northwest plus the rest of the world. For some carriers, the call sign differs from the airline name. British Airways is "Speed Bird"; America West is "Cactus"; Aer Lingus is "Shamrock", etc.Give it a try and let us know if it works.Regards,JerryH
