Digits Crossed Interactive, LLC Introduces Rogue System; goes to Kickstarter

LEAGUE CITY, Texas (February 25, 2013) – Digits Crossed Interactive (DCI), a newly-formed independent game development studio, is pleased to introduce Rogue System--a new Space Combat Simulator that blends the classic space combat gameplay of the 90’s with the detail and fidelity of a modern “hardcore” flight simulator.

“The past few months have been a whirlwind,” said Michael Juliano, owner and founder of DCI. “Between forming DCI and handling all that it entails, getting the media together for Rogue System’s formal unveiling, and trying to get the word out about its Kickstarter campaign, I’ve barely been able to keep up.”

Rogue System’s blend of the flight and space combat genres creates a unique experience by allowing players to take control of their ship at a system by system level. Players will need to know their ship inside and out to get the most out of it at all times, especially when systems start failing due to damage.

Digits Crossed Interactive has created a Kickstarter “campaign” in an effort to obtain the necessary funding to build an efficient development team to take Rogue System into the next stage of production. The campaign will run until March 21st.

Digits Crossed Interactive, LLC was formed on January 2, 2013. Its founder, Michael Juliano, has 14 years’ experience in the game development industry. To learn more about it and Rogue System, please visit www.RogueSystemSim.com. To learn more about DCI’s Kickstarter campaign, please visit:

Hello,

My name is Michael Juliano, founder of Digits Crossed Interactive. I'd like to take a moment and introduce Rogue System, which is a "hardcore" space combat sim in that it blends the classic gameplay of the space combat genre with the systems integration and management of a detailed "study" sim, such as the DCS series by Eagle Dynamics or MFS. Systems are independently modeled but interdependent--damage to one affects other systems that depend on it to function normally. This attention to detail sets Rogue System apart from the recently announced offerings of Roberts and Braben by giving the player full control of their ship from pre to post-flight.

I have 14 years experience in the game development industry, and for the last two years I've been developing the prototype for this on my own using whatever spare time I could find. I've recently gone to Kickstarter in an effort to secure funding to put together a proper development team to back Rogue System in going from pre-Alpha to release. My minimum target goal is $300K to develop the basic Core Module (CM), with stretch goals that would add team members to further expand the CM's functionality.

Below I'm attaching links to not only the DCI website, but also the latest videos that's been released, as well as the Kickstarter page itself. There's been 5 articles covering RogSys thus far. I'll add links for those as well. Also, I have a media package prepared that I can provide if needed.

Any help you could offer in assisting my efforts to get Rogue System introduced to my "target audience,"--the "hardcore" flight-sim crowd--would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration,

Michael Juliano
