Calibration of Pro Pedals

Featured Replies

Can anyone out there tell me how to calibrate these properly? When I go to the calibration page its easy to do the left and right bit but the toe brakes are something else! I can't seem to calibrate these properly. Also, I get a permanent red "Brakes" caption in the bottom left corner of the screen. Sometimes I get a "Differential brakes" caption but there seems to be no sensitivity. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks,Kev

Hi Kev,The toe brake axes need to be reversed to work properly. If they are configured the other way (and this is the normal default), then the brakes are applied when the pedals are relaxed and released when you press the pedals all the way down. Try depressing both toe brake pedals fully and I'll bet the braks message goes off. (If you press one all the way down, then you get the Differetial Brake message.)To fix the problem go to Options > Controls > Assignments. Then click on the Joystick Axes tab, then select the pedals from the Joystick Type dropdown box. Scroll down to the Left and Right brake entries and insure that the Reverse box is checked for each. Download the CH pro Pedals Manager. from their website, It has a nice calibration utility. That is the only thing that worked for me, now I am a happy Pedals user.
