PAD CRJ 700

Featured Replies

Just d/loaded the a/c ,fantastic model but cant stop it.Only brakes that work are for parking,no differential braking.Anybody have any clues?

Is this "PAD" CRJ a new one? I can't find it anywhere. Let me know where I can find it and once I get the files I might be able to help you.ThanksLeo

Yes Sir, that is what I needed. I am downloading it now. Will let you know the results once I try it.Meanwhile, have you tried the Project Skyworks CRJ-700?Talk to you later,Leo

Have a look in the panel config file.under [window04] you will see gauge05it should look like this:gauge05=rcb_groundhandling!TaxispeedFS2002, 86, 36, 60, 64 if you have this:gauge05=rcb_groundhandling!TaxispeedFS2004, 86,36,60,64this is only good for those with foot pedel setupsput// infront of this entry and paste the top one in its placethis will give you normal braking by the way this is in the read me files included in the packageDon

I love this model... I've enjoyed the FSDS 1.x version of it for some time--it was great seeing an updated version released and the virtual cockpit (IMHO) makes this the best freeware 700 going. The 700 is a workhorse in Sky Harbor where I fly out of most often, although my wife has the most recent honor of flying in one down to Mexico. If any of you have contact with the PAD team, one thing that would be great to see would be the addition of dynamic wing views (which were present in the 1.x model), and application of reflections to the cockpit windows. Adding the dynamic wing views would give a great perspective to those who like to position the eyepoint near the wing.Hat's off to PAD for this great aircraft. Glad to see the 700 done so well and given attention by the freeware community. And I hold a lot of respect for the real world flying experience that Barry and the rest of his team bring to our hobby.Regards,John

I agree. This AC is one step forward compared to the Project Skyworks (which BTW is good too). I use FS2002 and except for the panel everything works fine. Anyway the panel looks terrific, and I was able to load the very good pedestal to my FS2002 panel.Anyone knows about the paint policy? I am painting it in the colors of American Eagle, but don't know the designer policy about releasing it .One thing that I am not sure about is that the panel seems to be configured specially for each airline (at least every repaint has an own panel named with the repaint name). Thanks,Leo

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry to come into this thread so late but I have only just joined this forum. I am a member of the PAD team and we are all pleased that the CRJ700-ER has been so well received. The brakes issue has been fixed, all recent releases have the new brakes and you can get a fix file from the PAD website if you have an early release model. To the simmer who is going to paint up a American Eagle version ...sorry, it's been done and is now released :() Comair and ASA and Frontier (with wing views)will be released soon.We have a CRJ900 nearly ready...only America West Express have 900's at the moment but when more airlines get deliveries we will get some more liveries out.Bob May.
