Default RW visibility?

Featured Replies

Hi friends, which visibility range sould expect a real world pilot whilst cruising at FL330 in a sunny summer day?Tanks in advance for inputsLuigi -)

Probably a better topic for hangar chat...Here in the desert southwest of the U.S., I've seen visibilities approaching 150 miles. Along the east coast in the humid summers, I've been at FL350 and can barely make out detail 20-30NM beyond our track.Moisture content in the air can make a huge difference--the east coast of the U.S. is more the norm vis. wise than the west coast. I'd say flying in MSFS with a 30 mile vis captures the vis of the most typical summertime flight.-John

Thank you John for prompt reply; had to set some values in FSUIPC.ini...cheersLuigi ;-)
