September 8, 200421 yr Hi allI have 2 questions for you f/s that's in the know.1: What's to best way to remove aircraft "I don't want" from FS9. I know you can just delete the folder for the aircraft you want to un-install, but that still leaves gauges and other stuff. can anyone recommend a good program if there is one to remove a aircraft plus it's gauges etc. or is there a program to clean up unused gauges etc from FS9.2: When I start FS9 and want to select a aircraft everything works ok, but when I move the mouse down to click on the "Fly Now" button the mouse pointer has a annoying habit of disappearing behind to aircraft in the main screen. I think MS has made it do this by default but can I stop it from doing this.see yamac
September 9, 200421 yr I use Addit! Pro myself (payware, see http://www.byteforge.com/). This allows you to move aircraft (including gauges and effects) to another folder or zip file, or to remove them completely. SimControl (http://www.flightjack.com/) probably does something similar. As for freeware, there's several in the Avsim library; search for "gauges" in the FS2004 Utilities section.Marc
September 13, 200421 yr HiWell I got a lot of answers to my questions, a well 1 is better than nothing.I will try your suggestions to use Addit Pro.thanks MarcMac
September 13, 200421 yr If it's an aircraft that came as an addon with an installer then you can use the uninstaller (if provided).Otherwise just remove (delete or save elsewhere in case you change your mind) the aircraft from the FS9 aircraft folder.Unless you're desperate for Disk space - I would not remove any gauges etc. unless you're absolutely certain that no other aircaft use them.Dave
