G'dayGuysA question for those who are using the amazing TU-15$ project aircraf re the APU.As the APU dos not work withour a registered version of FSUIPC how are you going about engine starts etc.Is ground power alone OK for engine starts and if so how do you go about doing one.And finally is there any plans for Pete Dowson to make he TU-154B2 project an approved user of FSUIPC and sto the problems users are having with this great freeware aircraft.ThanksDarren

Darren,you can't start engines without APU. The external power is only useful to preserve your batteries.I'm not 100% sure why the FSUIPC is not registered yet. It's a big team and the APU has been programmed by a seperate author, who was not reachable for quite a while. Could be that is the reason.FSUIPC is very useful also for other purposes, so spending money for it is certainly not a loss.Mike

Darren, Mikealpha is absolutely right and FSUIPC is a nice addon anyway, go ahead and buy it if possible. But if for nothing else I would buy FSUIPC to be able to fly the TU-154B2 now, this aircraft is superior to ANY payware or freeware aircraft out there, so the few bucks you spend on FSUIPC are really not too much to be able to fly this great plane right now.Michael, I'm still doing the review, so I might have some questions for you soon. HI GuysThanksGot it started from a default cold start using Ctrl E.WIll part with some cash for the full FSUIPC.I agree its certainly the most detailed heavy iron aircraft i have seen for FS.WEll worth the effort of downloading and then some.ThanksDarren
