PSS a320-panel & coatl Labs Airbus

Featured Replies

Hello everybody,I was wondering if anybody tried to merge both the pss panel and the coatl model into one package.I have always been a fan of the pss panel but their model has become somewhat dated by now and I was looking at the coatl labs model a few minutes ago and for a tenner they look just gorgeous. If anybody tried it and got it working, just let me [email protected] 'Glaudrung' Brusselmans

Hey Luc,Why pay for a A32X model, when there is an extremely good freeware version in the shape of the iFDG A32X.This model works very, very well with the PSS model, and is a very high quality model.Dan.

HiJust from the looing at the pictures on the coatl website, I personally think the freeware ifdg model looks miles better.

Tim,It's hardly worth discussing what somebody finds better or not. For me, the issue is quite simple. I have tried (with the instructions on print) to merge both the pss-panel with the freewaremodel of Igf. For one reason or other (wrong or unclear instructions or my limited knowledge of english literature) the plane remains unflyable to me.So my question remains... Has anybody merged the pss panel with the Coatl lab model with succes?)If, on the other hand, somebody is willing to help me with the Igfmodel, detailed instuctions and help are always [email protected] 'Glaudrung' Brusselmans

Sorry, should be the ifdg model of course.Luc Brusselmans

Hey Luc,Detailed instructions for "merging" the PSS panel to the iFDG A319 and A321 are not required, it works by just "alaising" the panel and sound. The A320 requires a small modification to the air file to solve the high EGT temperature. This combination works like a dream, as I fly the iFDG model with the PSS panel alot in FS9Dan.

Dan,I'm going to try this tonight with the 319 & 321. However, as a pilot for Westwind Airlines, I fly mainly the 320. So could you help me with that small modification????Sofar, everytime I tried to make the alias (or the merge or whatever I should call it) it resulted in unflyable aircraft. So I really wonder what I could have been doing wrong...I'll let you know how it works out.thanks for the help anyway.Luc 'Glaudrung' Brusselmans

If you don't want to do the alias have a look at the instructions for the merge in the BAV/Speedbirdonline Airbus hangar (address below).I'll try the coatl Airbus tomorrow.
