September 24, 200421 yr I've had the Aerodesign 318 sitting in an archive and tried to install it for the first time tonight...I put everything where it is supposed to go and the aircraft loads fine. Looks like a beautiful model but I'm having a significant issue with the panel that I need help with.I have the full, registered, payware version of FSUIPC. When the panel loads, I get, what is best described as a publishing watermark, on the face of the PFD that says Airbus PFD by Eric Marciano. That watermark is followed by a website. The other thing that is happening is that E/WD says, in the bottom half 'missing guage' followed by four lines of 'malfunction'. I've double checked the archive and re-downloaded the panel directly from Marciano's website. I have all the guages in the archive installed. The freeware utility FS Guages doesn't come up with anything missing either...Would a kind soul here advise what I need to do to get this panel functioning.ThanksBobL
September 24, 200421 yr Your first problem with the publishing watermark can be solved by first loading the aircraft in 2D cockpit mode. The water mark will go away if you do this. I cant help with the other problem...sorry
September 24, 200421 yr I always load in the 2D. Rarely do I even use the 3D mode and generally just skip through that view but the watermark is still present. And since my initial post, I've note two other problems that I can't seem to find a cure for. And those are that the SD (System Display page doesn't function at all and when I attempt to use the MCDU (Multi Control Display Unit), a click of any of those buttons causes FS to crash with the We're sorry...FS has caused an unexpected error...do you want to report it....dialogue box. I thought a picture might help...Any help will be greatly appreciated. BobL
September 25, 200421 yr I can only offer a suggestion for getting rid of the watermark. Create a default flight with a stock MS plane (Cessna 172 works well). Load the flight and add the Aerodesign 318. Thats the only way I was able to get all the gauges to work properly and it got rid of the watermark.Austin
September 25, 200421 yr Well, I tried that and it didn't work either.Watermark still present; E/WD still says a guage is missing; SD is still blank and the MCDU still crashes flight sim...Any other ideas welcome...I paid a call to Eric's site and I don't see any of these issues listed there and he also says that email support isn't offered.BobL
