Playing FSX with my PC

Featured Replies

Hello everybody!

First of all: I am not sure if it is ok to post this topic in the "MS FSX Forum". So if I should have posted it in another forum, please feel free to make me aware of that!

So my question is, what you think of my PC (see on the LHS or below) and if my PC is good enough to play FSX without any big framerate hits. I should also mention, that I don't need ultra-high-graphics and high resolution clouds but addons like PMDG NGX. Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards

You'll be absolutely fine. I run this system:

Dell Inspirion 530

Intel Core Duo E6550 @ 2.33GHz

2.00GB ram

256GB Hard Drive

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT Graphics Card

Windows XP [yep...] 32 bit

And yet I have the PMDG 737NGX locked at 25FPS in outside views and get 20-25 in the virtual cockpit. I am also using various scenery, generally freeware however.

Regards, Jeremy Chesney
