Problems with fs9.1 and active camera + patch

Featured Replies

hey guys,i have a problem with my copy of active camera 2.0 +9.1 patch and fs9.1! fs won`t go further than to the splash screen and shows the problem text seen in the picture inserted in this thread. without active camera all works normal... has anyone had the same problem or can help me solving that. i love active camera, but like this i can`t use it.thx and regards, phil

I have the same problem, FS9.1 and Active Camera 2.0 crash to desk top. I Installed from this link http://www.anticyclone.be/update%201.htm and everything works great now.

Phil,An user who had a similar problem as yours wrote me today:Quoted from his message : "The problem is not a CTD but a failure of FS to load at all.I have now fixed the problem, you may be interested to know what was wrong in case others experience something simlar.I have recently upgraded to an Asus A8V Deluxe mainboard. This board does have a gameport, but it is optional and disabled in the BIOS by default. I had enabled this function in order to use my older Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro joystick with another game. Apparently this was causing the problem with Activecamera. I disabled the gameport in the BIOS and FS now loads normally. How the two are related I don't know, but clearly something conflicts somehow."Regards,
