June 28, 201312 yr Hi guys, I have a problem. I had recently installed an h80i into my system including an i5 2500k, gtx 560, and a number of other things. The problem is my temperatures. Previously I was using a hyper 212+ an my temperatures were alright but could be better which is why I chose to attempt a water cooler. My idle temps are 37 and up. Load in fs is upwards of 65. I was having temperatures lower than this with my 212+ and I may just return the h80i. I have tried installing washers on the backplate as many recommend to do. No help. Put on new thermal paste, nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Btw the temps are the same overclocked and stock. And the h80i temp is roughly 30C Alex Brinson
