hi,guys: I formatted my driver C and reinstalled system. I know I need to do somthing with the registry in windows to give the path dirction for my FS9, as I can not startup editvoice3.1 and much much more program stop working. I really can't to reinstall the FS9, and I tried many advices for this issue in this forum, BUT, NOTHING WORKS. Can anyone help me please. thanks

Hi,which operating system do you use (WinXP, 2000, ME, 98SE?), and what

zdfan1,you will need to reinstall most of your programs after reinstalling your windows. simply said, that's the way it's working. BUT, concerning FS9, I suggest:1) rename your FS9 folder to something like FS9bkp2) install compact version of FS9 from your original CDs in the same folder BEFORE renaming the original one (eg. FS9)3) after finished installation, delete the folder that you just installed4) and on the end, rename the FS9bkp folder back to it's original nameThat should give you again properly working FS9.Hope it helps!

If you load the registry editor and goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator9.0 you will see the entry EXE.Path. Next to this in the Data column should be the entire path to Flight Simulator 9. If the path is incorect just correct it and all should be well. Some addons with self installers (hate them) will alter the path entry.Davidedit: This refers to WinXP but I think it would be the same or close to it with other Windows versions.
