I have a MSI GeForce5900XT with 1Gb DDR RAMwith the Omega 1.6177 (Q) driversCurrently my settings are as follow:AA = 2xAF = 4xRefresh Rate = 75 MhzThe AA goes to 8xSAF goes to 8xI see some goes guys talk about setting AA to 16 (on what card do you have this setting because the maximum I've seen is 8xS ...?I did notice that with the above settings, FSNavigator takes about 8 seconds longer to load when you start FSNav up, while if the above settings are set to "Application Controlled", it loads in a second.What will be the best settings and why does this new card not have a 16 setting under AA ...?Just trying to experiment a little with this. BUT it makes me feel really stupid.RegardsTerblanchePS: I must say with this new card + 1Gb RAM = a huge improvement in the frame rate department!!

I have the same card, but I don't use AA. When I do any extra windows are hard to move to my second monitor. Maybe its something else, but am running 1280x960, so it dosen't bother me not running AA. Outside view to landscape is ok, don't look at outside AC much. Can run at higher resolution at the cost of a few frame rates. So to your question, highest AA settings are 8xS. Yea, I know what you mean by not understanding the ups and downs of AA. I old man and can't see worth a durn anyway, so what I have does ok for me. I am running the 6176 Nvidia drivers.
