October 31, 200421 yr I recently noticed that when AI placed the default Kingair 350 into a scene, the airplane was always parked tail-low, with the nose wheel several 'feet' in the air. Never thought much of it before. Today, I tried to fly the Kingair 350 and found that the airplane really is placed in FS9 with the nose wheel off the ground. I have tried re-tweaking the vertical position of all the landing gears, tried copying the old FS8 airplane version into FS9, and also tried downloading a new aircraft.cfg and air file from Avsim. But nothing seems to work to get all the wheels back on the ground.Has anyone else seen this problem before, or can you suggest a solution?jetpilot21
October 31, 200421 yr Author I haven't really noticed that with the king air...I'll have to look later, but I don't remember seeing that. But anyway, which cfg are you editing? You have two routes. The aircraft.cfg file, or the air file itself. I'd try the aircraft.cfg first, and it *should* work, but if it doesn't , you might have to edit the air file itself. I've had a few planes with the his problem, even though I don't remember the king air doing it..I had to tweak a lear 23 for this the other day. It sat nose high...I only edited the cfg file, and it seemed to do the trick. Normally, the cfg file should override the air file, but in some cases, it's probably best to cure the problem in the air file itself. MK Mark Keith
