Tribute to the fs9 patch

I run two profiles: normal (default setup) and gaming per Blackviper.com. Dell 8300 2.6, 512MB Radeon Omega 2.5.90Started a fair weather flight at KPDX at night with realair C172P, (normal profile). Scenery sliders maxed, autogen normal, scenery complexity dense. ATI 9800 SE 1600x1200 32, trilinear, mipmap 4, global texture massive. I opened two IE, one was streaming the Drudgereport on KFI am640 the other Avsim.com, when I began the flight. I had FPS set for 28. I was surprised, with all that stuff running in the background including antivirus software that I got 25-28 fps and smoothness. In my view, that says alot about the effectiveness of the patch.John Franklin
