new fix for USA Roads

Featured Replies

Allen Kriesman has just released an "Enhancement Package" that lets you turn off roads when they cross water (as in Markus Brunner's new AD Roads). Description and download here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...p?TID=9088&PN=1This is EXCELLENT news. I'm wondering, though, if there's a trick to making it work. I ran the 1Mb download, set up "No roads on water" in the USA Roads Configuration program, and let it rebuild the scenery. No error messages, but when I fired up the simulator, the roads were still visible on the water. (Have checked San Francisco Bay Area and Pamlico River in N. Carolina so far.)

I tried it, but it does not seem to be working for me. I still have roads over water when I fly around the Seattle area. Could someone who has the patch working, confirm that it works on the area of the Lake Washington bridges. Thanks,

Interesting. Lake Washington, and what I've looked at in puget sound, narrows bridge, is fixed. For John (dakota) M, after you select no roads on water, you have to select modify to rebuild the bgl's.BUT, I still have roads in frisco, under the golden gate, etc. There are posts to that effect in simforums. One suggestion was to make sure you have ver 1.1. I have 1.1d, still have roads in the bay area. Looks like they are aware, keep watching the thread you used to download, I guess.
