November 5, 200421 yr I don't have enough ink in my printer to print the ones from the manual. Is anyone aware of a shorter version without pics? Thanks,Adam
November 5, 200421 yr theres probably a checklist.txt fle in the aircraft folder that you could print out...
November 5, 200421 yr Also see the AFM, there's the real deal in there (no pix), and do not forget that we have a dedicated ATR support forum. :-)http://atr.flight1.net/forums/Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
November 6, 200421 yr There is one in the owners manual. It is one page after all the Normal Procedures are listed.
November 6, 200421 yr I found a couple here, at Dauntless Software. http://www.dauntless-soft.com/PRODUCTS/SimPlates/frame.html. They have a growing list of checklists there, contributed by users.
November 6, 200421 yr Actually, I was surprised how little ink it took to print the whole manual. I bought a new printer/scanner a few weeks ago,(HP PSC 1315) and as I started to print the manual, the ink cartridge was about half full, according to the software. As I was finished, it was nearly empty,it actually ran out as I was printing the ATR logo for the cover. This means that the whole manual only used about 10ml of ink. I printed it duplex, easy to do with a PDF file, it uses less paper, as well as looking more professional. Estimated total cost, including paper, a ring binder folder and plastic tabs for the different sections was about
November 6, 200421 yr Thanks for the responses, gentlemen.Actually I got it printed out at Mailboxes Etc. It cost me about $30.00 CAD. Last night a buddy and I cracked the manual and we didn't get off the ground for nearly an hour. Mind you we had consumed an inordinate # of beers but, wow, the complexity is quite amazing. My bud is a commercially rated pilot and he likes the simming but was really taken by this plane. We're getting together again soon and gonna work our way through the manual. Naturally, he will be first officer. }(Fantastic plane. One question for Lou (Maybe I should address it to Hans)... I posted at the ATR Forum about constant HDD access in landing view which causes the little hourglass to be flicking on and off and results in very jerky instrument movement. Any idaes? It is perfectly smooth in IFR view, but I like the landing view for normal flying. Thanks,Adam
November 6, 200421 yr I printed the instructions for "Tutorial Flight 1 - TFFR-TFFF." It is written in sort of a minimal style with only a few pictures and therefore makes a decent checklist, especially if you're still learning all the systems. I also used a pen to underline the most relevant parts.
