Hello I am quite new in this forum and I just wanted to ask how to open this kind of bitmap image. I can't seem to open it with any application.

Yes you can use  [DXTBMP]  that would be the number one choice, you can export the BMP within [DXTBMP] utility to edit using Paint by selecting the send to Editor Option from the Drop down menu mines is set to use Paint but u can send it to winch ever editor you choose Paint or Photoshop ,just make sure to select Reload after Editor from the drop down menu after your finished editing the Bmp file.
