Need help with FS9 configuration problems

Featured Replies

I am having a problem with FS9 and being able to change any settings. When I go into the settings function of FS9 and select display or really anything for that matter, the sliders are all whited out and I cannot select them to change their settings. I have tried just about everything I can think of. I have re-installed onto a different Hard drive on my system and even deleted everything and tried reinstalling from scratch. I downloaded the latest ATI drivers for my 9800XT card and re-installed DirectX but I still have the same issue. This has really become an issue because I have several products I need to review and cannot because my settings are not selectable and I want to make sure I can get the sceneries and aircraft tested at different settings. Please, can anyone help me? My computer is a AMD64 3400+ with 1 gig ram, ATI 9800XT. Running Windows XP Home and I have dloaded and installed the latest ATI drivers and Direct X.Thank you,Eric [email protected]@avsim.com

Sometimes the latest drivers are not a good idea. You might go back to the previous one, and see what happens. Before installing any drives, I always read the readme to see what changes are made. Many times they are for changes that I dont need, so dont update, especially if the date is new. Many times they will get feedback about problems, so make nore canges. Bob
