Recently the FS9 ATC has begun using European phraseology. How do I get the program to revert to American phraseology. Where is such preference set? (eg ATC calls "Center" "Control" even in US and Canadian airspace)

Facility names are all unique. ATC simply "says" whatever is in the data. If a facility refers to itself as "control" then that's what FS ATC will use.
