November 10, 200421 yr I feel the Meljet a/c Flight dynamics aren't great, so I want to put POSKY FD to my Meljet. More realistic operating environment then. How can I change the Flight Dynamics of my Meljet a/c? Is it easy to use the FD from the POSKY a/c I got and overwrite them? How can I do this?Danielwww.danielmcaloon.tk
November 11, 200421 yr Daniel,I see you're not getting any response here, so let me just add my two cents...Yes, you can use a FDE from another aircraft, but it can be a real can of worms getting it to work properly. The aircraft.cfg file is populated with data from the FDE (.air file), and uses this information to make the aircraft fly the way it does. However, it also continuously reads the FDE for other information. So, if you use the FDE from another aircraft, you will also need to use the aircraft.cfg file from the other aircraft and then update it with some of the data from your Meljet aircraft.cfg file, primarily, 'contact points', as this is the parameter that makes the aircraft sit on the ground properly. Many other parameters can and should also be brought over, but you'll just have to tinker and wing it till it works the way you want.I use FS2002, and in my opinion, some of the best FDE's I have are from FS98.Best of luck,Bob
November 11, 200421 yr I agree with you, the FS98 FD were nice.....But I think FS2004 is more realistic but needs to have improved FD....Danielwww.danielmcaloon.tk
