Mouse clicks suddenly do not work

After loading I was able to click on the Auto throttle with my mouse and move the switches, after using a "popup" to program the flight computer I noticed I could no longer activate any switches or rotating knobs with my mouse.

I did get a "Run as Administrator" pop up during the loading of the 777 but ignored it.  Could this be the problem?

What other reason might de-activate my mouse?
