Startup Error Message

I get this error message on startup, everytime. Anyone know the fix for this? --------------------------------------------------------------The requested flight file is corrupt or can

I've seen something about this before on Avsim forums - might be worth a search..... If no luck then the following is pure guesswork but can't do any harm..............AFAIK there should be (at least) two flights in the folder called Previous Flight and UI generated flight- best make sure those still exist. Also you could try saving as new "default flight".Dave

sounds to me like you've deleted your saved startup file.if you can edit your FS9.cfg.find the entry for your startup file and edit it to a new one. this is the line you want to change.....this is from my FS9.CFG SITUATION=C:Documents and SettingsXXXXMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Filesstartup <<<<< this is the bit you need to change.thats what my flight startup file is called. be careful steve

I believe that if you just delete the path statement AFTER the equal "=" sign then FS9 will just default to the usual Seattle flight. So, the line will look like this in the FS9.cfg file...SITUATION=I hope this helps. A good TIP is to advise that SAVED FLIGHTS are best deleted from within Flight Simulator using the "Select Flights" menu.
