PSS Concorde Autopilot

Featured Replies

Hi,because any post at the PSS forum needs some time to get released, if ever, I seek here for help by other customers.I have managed to start the engines, that was tought. The manuals are huge, much more to read than the manuals of any other PSS releases. But when I am airborn, I push the right buttons of the autopilot --- end nothing happens but autothrottle works. Nothing else works. When I drive the trim manualy, the concorde is very very sensitiv with that and pitches a lot.I never piloted a concorde myself... So I dont know why the trim is so jumpy. But could someone tell me how to activate the autopilot, so that HDG select, altitude capture etc. works?

Regards, Torben Hadler

I would suggest you post this question In the PSS Forum, The subject knowledge there (with no disrespect meant) is Much higher than in this general forum I assure you we WILL get to it but please be a little patient..... We are quite busy at the moment :) Anyhow The Autopilot is divided into 2 seperate ones .. You Must select the HDG / OBS in the CORECT AP for it to work .But simply selecting AP1 or AP2 Will put the aircaft into Pitch and hdg Hold mode. I appreciate the manuals are large but you cant seriously expect to fly something as complex as Concorde (or an Airbus etc) Without at least reseraching the sections you need.. Also the Tutorial files By John Helsby are a godsend to the novice SST Driver :) I Hope this helps a little But please.. repeat the question in our Forum and the guys will be all over you like a rash with the help you need :) Good luck
