I tried running the 9.1 update and the program hung while updating the first DLL. However some of the new files were installed. When trying to rerun the update it says 9.1 is already installed and finishes.I can not uninstall the update and try again because there is no FS9UpdateUninstall.exe. How can I reinstall the 9.1 update?? Where in FS does it look for the version number 9.1 ??? (The original fs9.exe is there so that isn't it) John.

Likely you had a dll in there (in your modules folder) that wasn't the correct version. You need to restore all your dll's that belong in your modules folder from your install CD's, then remove the "Backup" folder from your Flight Simulator 9 folder. The 9.1 installer is known to sometimes hang unless all the dll's are 9.0 originals.-John "CI"llis :) )
