Is there anyway to disable this feature of the plane? They come on during the worse time of my flying.

You mean the engines cut out? Thats because you are overheating them You must bring the temps down by using the Fuel Trimmers. I suggest you read the manual on this aspect of flying the YS-11. No, not the engines cutting out. I meant the prop feather indicator light. The left one some times turns on by itself indicating the prop is feathered. However, I can click it to unfeather the prop if I want. Just a pain on the neck.
