December 4, 200421 yr Hi there,although this appears to be a stupid question I am in need of some help and am sure that one of you should be able to help me. For 2 weeks I get this annoying "blowing wind" sound in the tower and spot views. I have tried to switch off several sounds in the sound options menu but it didn't do the trick. I have also played around with dx sound settings, neither worked this. I attach a zip file with the sound so that you know what I mean.Thanks in advance.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/99627.zip

December 4, 200421 yr Christoph,This sound comes from the Active Camera addon. I believe there is a way to disable active camera sounds from its menu.
December 4, 200421 yr Thanks to both of you. I disabled the Active Camera sound and I believe this annoying sound is gone now. I had never thought of Active Cam as the cause of it. Thanks again!
