You can't, unless you have the source. .GAU files are compiled C code (actually a dll, with the extension changed to .GAU)-John

Depends on what you want to change..If you want to change the way it works, John's right, you need the source file. If you want to change the way it looks, Chuck Dome made a program called GAUBMP2 which will decompile a gauge into all its different bitmaps and you can edit the appearance of the textures. The one I have works on gauges made through FS2000. It may still work on most current gauges, you would just have to try it.Cheers,Bob
