0S9 dodgy runways?

Featured Replies

Hi all, sorry to bother you with this little thing but its really annoying me!the airport 0S9 has runways 9/27 but actually they follow 8/26 - can anyone confirm that this is true?also i tried changing the runway to 8/26 in afcad and the ATC uses the new numbers and the runways themselves have the new numbering system, but in the airport selection box it says the same for start location (9/27)any help would be greatly appreciated :)James

The 9/27 designations are correct, according to airnav:http://www.airnav.com/airport/0S9

What is your source for it being 8/26? If it's an older source, be aware that runways are occasionally renumbered to account for annual magnetic declination.Dan

"Airnav says it's 9-27"What I said :)

thanks guys, well the source was me sitting on the runway wondering why i was at heading 28 rather than 29, i tested airports around 0s9 and the runways are the same as the heading (the way i thought it was supposed to be)maybe one of you could fire up fs and take a look? :)cheers again,James
