Hi Steve,Agree with Par's points above. I would also add that the newer cards take advantage of more DirectX 9 features, though that means nothing in FS9. But views in FS9 load faster and the new cards allow the gamer more flexibilty in configuring the graphics of all apps.I certainly will not be upgrading from my current card to the 850 series, though. The performance gain simply would not be worth the cost. But your fast system could see some advantages in some games by upgrading the video card. Really just depends on whether you want a new toy to be honest. Your 9800 Pro is an outstanding card... the newer cards are just more outstanding.Cheers,Greg
