Amazing, Working, Reliable Multicrew!

This is a great addon.

I am surprised at how great this works!

Currently flying from KLAX-KLAS on vatsim.

I definitely hope an extension of this addon comes out for the 777 one day! (one could hope)

Great work Michael & Shane!

Hey there I'm going to be trying this with a friend soon can't wait! So to get it to work on VATSIM do you do the same instructions as posted in the tutorial? Also, how are you able to hear your copilot without talking on the radio?? Thanks!

This should help :)

If you would like to chat with each other you could try ventrilo or teamspeak and assign the chat button to something fsx is not using.

I also can give a tip that has helped the sessions I've done, We have used Hamachi for our IP's, we found it more reliable...

Man, me and my friend can not get this working... I tried everything we cannot get connected to the same cockpit so everything works... Does anyone know why... I've followed the manual to the tee.

Are you connecting to each other over the internet? and are using a modem/router? If so you will have to open the following ports:

FSX ports:

23456 UDP

6073 UDP

Desk Pilot

60000 UDP open TCP as well just in case. But i'm sure its udp. I will update the manuals later with this information.

How to open ports? This might help http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/

Now if all of the above has failed and you still can't connect to each other then don't worrie there is still hope!  B)

There is a little bug in the ip address and password input fields that causes them send the wrong info. To fix this open up the ClientSettings.ini located within the installation directory and edit the following:

[settings]
ServerIP = "Place The Servers IP Here"
ServerPassword = "Place The Servers Password Here"

Between the quotes " "

Do the same for the server password within the ServerSettings.ini

Hope this helps!  B)

Ok thanks for all this info! We actual were able to connect after many times last night lol. We are still having some minor issues such as certain switches not activating and syncing so I'll make those changes in the .ini file and see if that helps, thanks again!

What are the switches that aren't syncing correctly? It might be a switch that has not been added yet.
